Latest Massage Therapist signing up for the World Championship in Massage is Elisa Fujita from Japan. The International Massage Association has asked her to tell about herself:
Hello, I’m Elisa Fujita. Massage therapist from Japan.
It was 10 years ago when I went into massage industry.
I studied beauty therapy in England, UK and Thai traditional massage in Chiang Mai, Thailand.
After the graduation, I have experienced many spas and learned many techniques started from a chiropractor, a spa therapist on 6-star international luxury cruise ships and luxury hotel spas in Germany and Japan.
Thankfully, I was No.1 massage therapist all the time who got the most revenue and requests from the guests over 50 different nationalities.
I always surprise the clients with very strong pressure even though I look quite petit.
Nowadays, I am a massage instructor and teach oil massage and my own stretch techniques to relieve the muscle tension and improve the flexibility.
My massage is based on western-styled oil massage but I add some shiatsu techniques, stretch techniques and traditional Thai so that the clients don’t only feel relaxed but also improve their concerns.
