Latest Massage Therapist participating at the 7th World Championship in Massage is the awarded Ludovic Maire from France. The International Massage Association has asked him to tell about himself:

I have been practicing as a massage therapist for the past 19 years, honing my sense of touch through extensive training courses in various massage techniques across the globe.

Drawing upon my wealth of experience in both teaching and practical application, I strive to forge a unique connection with each client, while radiating positive energy and fostering a profound sense of relaxation and release. By seamlessly blending Eastern and Western influences, my techniques and intuition merge harmoniously.

– In recognition of my skills, I secured a remarkable 5th place in the Sport Massage category and was honored with the prestigious Empathy Trophy at the 2022 European Massage Championship, hosted at the Château de Villeuneuve-Loubet in France.

– Continuing to lead by example, I have been entrusted with the role of Team Leader for France at the esteemed European Massage Championship in 2023.

– Further acclaim followed at the 2023 European Massage Championship held in Sibiu, Romania, where I achieved an impressive 4th place in the Wellness Massage category and a commendable 7th place in the Sport Massage category.

– I got for my first participation, last year a beautiful 14th place in Swedish categorie and 15th place in Wellness Category at the 6th World Championship in Copenhagen.

– Then for the 4th European Massage Championship in Rome : i arrived on Top 20 of my tree category: 13th in Wellness Category, 7th in Sport Massage and i got my First Bronze Medal: 3th in Western Category

Sport Massage:

A Deep Tissue Sport Massage including the innovative manuel hooking technique, myofascial techniques and Stark Ball Massage to release the joints and massage deeper into the muscle fibers.

This Sports massage is a realolfactory journey into the hills of the hinterland of Nice with its arnica flowers picked by hand at 1900 meters altitude.The massage oil is a macerate of arnica flower oil put in a jar with olive oil and macerated for 40 days under the good sun of the South of France.Christophe Cottereau prepares it with full awareness with heart and passion for “Les scents du claut”.The Pilate Balls which are placedat the joints of the bodyin order to feel true myofascial release.

Western Inspired Massage:

A western-inspired massage including Swedish techniques, deep tissue massage, stretching and including Stark Ball Massage to release muscular tension and reach deeper into the different muscle fibers.

I had the honor of participating in the 7th Massage Competition held in Copenhagen, Denmark, last June about 250 over participants from 50 over countries.
During this event, I encountered numerous massage therapists who profoundly inspired me till now, we made connectionson social media, learning new techniques from them as well.
The competition venue was expansive and expertly designed to accommodate all categories of massage.

Mr. Jeppe, my greatest idol, was exceptionally engaged throughout the event. His energy seemed boundless, akin to a rechargeable battery, as he was present everywhere, capturing videos and photographs of all participants and conducting interviews with us.

Wishing all my fellow "muscle kneaders" the best of luck; may you enjoy this truly remarkable experience in your lives!

I extend my gratitude to IMA for providing this extraordinary opportunity to showcase our talents to the world.

Jeg mødte Jeppe Tengbjerg for første gang ved det første World Massage Championship i 2017. Siden da har vi krydset veje mange gange, i forskellige samarbejder relateret til massageverdenen: internationale konkurrencer, danske konkurrencer, kurser, workshops, seminarer, masterclasses mv. . Her var Jeppe skaberen, arrangøren eller i det mindste var han en væsentlig faktor i dannelsen af disse værdifulde platforme for uddannelse, inspiration og promovering, for alle dem, der er involveret i massageverdenen, både som massageudbydere og som massageforbrugere.
Jeppe har ydet et kæmpe bidrag til at fremme massageværdier i Danmark og verden. Der kunne siges meget om dette bidrag og om hans egenskaber som professionel og som person. Måske allervigtigst er, at Jeppe Tengbjerg er en inspiration og et forbillede. Han samler flittigt viden og erfaringer, hvorfra han skaber en kilde til ny viden og erfaring til andre og giver den videre.

Jeg har taget både grunduddannelsen, skadesterapeut, thai yoga massage samt sundhedsfaglig grunduddannelse hos tengbjerg massørskole og jeg er så tilfreds. Man lærer utrolig meget på kurserne og underviserne er så kompetente! Hvis man overvejer at blive massør, kan jeg på det kraftigste anbefale at man smutter til Næstved! :-)
