Masterclass in Therapeutic Freestyle Massage – Kazakhstan 2026

In collaboration with School of Massageart (the healing hands) in Almaty, Kazakhstan IMA offers:

Course: 2Days Masterclass in Freestyle Massage on table (Level I) (Dates: 5-6 of May 2026)

Location: Almaty, Kazakhstan

Time: 10:00 am to 04:00 pm.

Price 2 days: 300 Euro

Teachers and developer: Jeppe Tengbjerg (The Founder and CEO of the International Massage Association and organiser of the World Championship in Massage). Teacher of Massage in 25 years.

It will be possible to add Level II on Thursday May 7. (For more information ask the organizer)

Course description:

Freestyle massage techniques focus on the importance of flexibility and relaxation. The massage methods are a series of compound massage exercises and stretching of muscles, tendons and fascia. The techniques cover all major and minor muscle groups. During the course, we will immerse ourselves in the physiological properties and reactions of the massage to the treatment, making it easier to choose the right techniques in the future. With this background, you as a therapist can tailor your approach to the individual client’s problems and at the same time make it an extremely pleasant treatment to receive.

The students will learn to give the massage on Massage chair as well as on the Massage table.

The teaching will be in English.

I had the honor of participating in the 7th Massage Competition held in Copenhagen, Denmark, last June about 250 over participants from 50 over countries.During this event, I encountered numerous massage therapists who profoundly inspired me till now, we made connectionson social media, learning new techniques from them as well.The competition venue was expansive and expertly designed to accommodate all categories of massage.Mr. Jeppe, my greatest idol, was exceptionally engaged throughout the event.
