Latest Massage Therapist signing up for the 10th World Massage Championship in Massage on July 2-4 2027 is Mags Milne from Scotland. IMA has asked her to tell about herself:

My name is Mags Milne, and I am a proud Scottish massage therapist with over 20 years experience as a therapist, i have a genuine passion for helping people feel their very best.

Massage therapy isn’t just my profession—it’s my purpose. Every person who walks through my door has their own story, whether they’re living with pain, recovering from injury, feeling overwhelmed by stress, or simply needing time to reconnect with themselves. Being able to help someone leave feeling happier, calmer, and more comfortable is the greatest reward I could ever ask for.

I believe massage is about far more than technique. It’s about compassion, connection, listening, and creating an experience that allows people to heal both physically and emotionally. Every treatment I give comes from the heart, and knowing I’ve made a positive difference in someone’s life is what inspires me every single day.

I am constantly striving to learn, grow, and develop my skills so I can offer the very best care to my clients.

My dream is to represent Scotland in the Wellness Massage category at the World Championship in Massage in Copenhagen 2027. To stand alongside some of the world’s finest therapists while proudly wearing the Scottish flag would be one of the greatest honours of my life.

Competing isn’t just about winning a medal—it’s about representing my country, showcasing the quality of Scottish therapists, and inspiring others to follow their passion. Whatever the outcome, I want people to see the dedication, care, professionalism, and heart that I bring to every treatment.

Helping people has changed my life, and I hope, through my work and this incredible opportunity, I can continue changing the lives of others.

The World Massage Championship in Copenhagen is truly my second home. For the past 9 years, As a I have had the honor of being part of this amazing organization as a teacher and judge, and every year I leave feeling inspired, moved, and deeply grateful.

It is a place where passion, knowledge, talent, and heart come together. I have learned from others, been influenced and inspired by incredible professionals, and I have also had the joy of teaching and sharing my own experience.

I had the honor of participating in the 7th Massage Competition held in Copenhagen, Denmark, last June about 250 over participants from 50 over countries.
During this event, I encountered numerous massage therapists who profoundly inspired me till now, we made connectionson social media, learning new techniques from them as well.
The competition venue was expansive and expertly designed to accommodate all categories of massage.

Mr. Jeppe, my greatest idol, was exceptionally engaged throughout the event. His energy seemed boundless, akin to a rechargeable battery, as he was present everywhere, capturing videos and photographs of all participants and conducting interviews with us.

Wishing all my fellow "muscle kneaders" the best of luck; may you enjoy this truly remarkable experience in your lives!

I extend my gratitude to IMA for providing this extraordinary opportunity to showcase our talents to the world.

Jeg mødte Jeppe Tengbjerg for første gang ved det første World Massage Championship i 2017. Siden da har vi krydset veje mange gange, i forskellige samarbejder relateret til massageverdenen: internationale konkurrencer, danske konkurrencer, kurser, workshops, seminarer, masterclasses mv. . Her var Jeppe skaberen, arrangøren eller i det mindste var han en væsentlig faktor i dannelsen af disse værdifulde platforme for uddannelse, inspiration og promovering, for alle dem, der er involveret i massageverdenen, både som massageudbydere og som massageforbrugere.
Jeppe har ydet et kæmpe bidrag til at fremme massageværdier i Danmark og verden. Der kunne siges meget om dette bidrag og om hans egenskaber som professionel og som person. Måske allervigtigst er, at Jeppe Tengbjerg er en inspiration og et forbillede. Han samler flittigt viden og erfaringer, hvorfra han skaber en kilde til ny viden og erfaring til andre og giver den videre.
