My name is Mariia Mitina, and I am originally from Ukraine. I am a licensed massage therapist in the state of Massachusetts, USA, with seven years of professional experience in massage therapy.

My professional journey began in Ukraine, where I received my education and started my career as a massage therapist. Later, I worked in Canada, where I gained valuable international hands-on experience. Today, I live and work in Massachusetts, USA, where I obtained my massage therapy license, continue my professional development, refine my skills, and practice as a licensed massage therapist. Working and training in three countries has broadened my professional perspective, strengthened my skills, and allowed me to integrate diverse techniques and approaches into my practice.

I specialize in therapeutic massage, relaxation massage, facial massage, prenatal and postnatal massage, as well as lymphatic drainage massage, body contouring techniques, and modern soft tissue work aimed at improving overall well-being, body aesthetics, and health.

In my professional practice, I work with a wide range of therapeutic modalities, including lymphatic drainage massage, deep tissue techniques, sports massage, cupping therapy, trigger point therapy, myofascial release, body contouring techniques, neurosedative massage, manual soft tissue therapy, and various relaxation and integrative wellness approaches. My goal is to provide an individualized approach for each client, combining effective techniques with a holistic view of health and well-being.

From the very beginning of my career, I have been committed to continuous professional development. I enjoy learning new techniques, refining my skills, exploring modern approaches to massage therapy, and connecting with talented therapists and educators from around the world. Throughout my career, I have participated in professional massage championships, educational events, and professional development programs in Ukraine, Europe, Canada, and the United States. Participating in the World Massage Championship is a great honor and an opportunity to represent my professional journey, be inspired by skilled therapists from around the world, gain new knowledge, and proudly represent Ukraine on the international professional stage.

The World Massage Championship in Copenhagen is truly my second home. For the past 9 years, As a I have had the honor of being part of this amazing organization as a teacher and judge, and every year I leave feeling inspired, moved, and deeply grateful.

It is a place where passion, knowledge, talent, and heart come together. I have learned from others, been influenced and inspired by incredible professionals, and I have also had the joy of teaching and sharing my own experience.

I had the honor of participating in the 7th Massage Competition held in Copenhagen, Denmark, last June about 250 over participants from 50 over countries.
During this event, I encountered numerous massage therapists who profoundly inspired me till now, we made connectionson social media, learning new techniques from them as well.
The competition venue was expansive and expertly designed to accommodate all categories of massage.

Mr. Jeppe, my greatest idol, was exceptionally engaged throughout the event. His energy seemed boundless, akin to a rechargeable battery, as he was present everywhere, capturing videos and photographs of all participants and conducting interviews with us.

Wishing all my fellow "muscle kneaders" the best of luck; may you enjoy this truly remarkable experience in your lives!

Jeg mødte Jeppe Tengbjerg for første gang ved det første World Massage Championship i 2017. Siden da har vi krydset veje mange gange, i forskellige samarbejder relateret til massageverdenen: internationale konkurrencer, danske konkurrencer, kurser, workshops, seminarer, masterclasses mv. . Her var Jeppe skaberen, arrangøren eller i det mindste var han en væsentlig faktor i dannelsen af disse værdifulde platforme for uddannelse, inspiration og promovering, for alle dem, der er involveret i massageverdenen, både som massageudbydere og som massageforbrugere.
