Ciara Ní Dhiomasaigh, Ireland
Latest Massage therapist participating at the 2026 World Massage Championship is Ciara Ní Dhiomasaigh from Ireland. The IMA has asked her to tell about herself:
My name is Ciara Ní Dhiomasaigh, and I am proud to represent Ireland at the World Championship in Massage.
I began my professional massage training in 1992, qualifying first in Swedish Massage before continuing my studies in Holistic Massage a few years later. For more than 30 years, I have worked full-time as a massage therapist, building a busy practice and continuing to expand my skills through ongoing study and clinical experience.
My style of massage combines technical precision with vibrancy, warmth, creativity, and therapeutic presence. I believe that excellent massage is not only about technique but also about listening to the body, understanding the nervous system, and creating a space where clients can truly relax and restore.
In 2008, I qualified as a Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapist, further deepening my understanding of the body’s innate capacity for health and healing. Today I assist in teaching Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy with Body College and help coordinate the Galway training programme.
Alongside my clinical practice, I am also a yoga teacher and the founder of Naduir Centre for Holistic Health on the west coast of Ireland.
Throughout my career I have travelled and worked in several countries, and I continue to be inspired by learning, teaching, and sharing the art of therapeutic touch. After more than three decades in practice, I remain as passionate about massage as I was when I first began.
