Latest Massage Therapist participating at the 2026 World Massage Championship is Kornelia Dziubacka from Poland. The IMA has asked her to tell about herself:

My name is Kornelia Dziubacka, I am 44 years old, and I proudly represent Poland. This year, I have the honor of representing my country for the third time at the World Massage Championship.

For over 20 years, I’ve worked with the human body as a therapist, educator, and creator of original bodywork methods. I believe that true innovation isn’t about creating yet another technique, but about changing the way we think about therapy.

Foot work became my starting point for creating my own philosophy, ASHI-KIMI®, and Ms. Ashiatsu Academy® – the first academy in Poland offering a comprehensive system of barefoot bodywork education.

Within the academy, I’ve created 7 original training programs, showcasing different ways of using the foot as a therapeutic tool. For me, the foot isn’t an alternative to the hand – it’s its natural complement.

The ASHI-KIMI® philosophy draws inspiration from Japan. “Ashi” means foot, and “Kimi” means You. “You” refers to both the therapist and the client. I believe good therapy should take care of both sides.

That’s why in my work, the foot collaborates with the hand, forearm, and movement of the whole body. The choice of tool is guided by the client’s needs, the therapist’s ergonomics, and the quality of touch. I call this approach four-limb therapy – a way of working where what matters isn’t the technique itself, but conscious choice and effectiveness.

My mission is to develop bodywork that is innovative, ergonomic, and grounded in mindful touch.

For me, Ashiatsu isn’t the destination. It’s the beginning of a new way of thinking about therapy.

The World Massage Championship in Copenhagen is truly my second home. For the past 9 years, As a I have had the honor of being part of this amazing organization as a teacher and judge, and every year I leave feeling inspired, moved, and deeply grateful.

It is a place where passion, knowledge, talent, and heart come together. I have learned from others, been influenced and inspired by incredible professionals, and I have also had the joy of teaching and sharing my own experience.

I had the honor of participating in the 7th Massage Competition held in Copenhagen, Denmark, last June about 250 over participants from 50 over countries.
During this event, I encountered numerous massage therapists who profoundly inspired me till now, we made connectionson social media, learning new techniques from them as well.
The competition venue was expansive and expertly designed to accommodate all categories of massage.

Mr. Jeppe, my greatest idol, was exceptionally engaged throughout the event. His energy seemed boundless, akin to a rechargeable battery, as he was present everywhere, capturing videos and photographs of all participants and conducting interviews with us.

Wishing all my fellow "muscle kneaders" the best of luck; may you enjoy this truly remarkable experience in your lives!

Jeg mødte Jeppe Tengbjerg for første gang ved det første World Massage Championship i 2017. Siden da har vi krydset veje mange gange, i forskellige samarbejder relateret til massageverdenen: internationale konkurrencer, danske konkurrencer, kurser, workshops, seminarer, masterclasses mv. . Her var Jeppe skaberen, arrangøren eller i det mindste var han en væsentlig faktor i dannelsen af disse værdifulde platforme for uddannelse, inspiration og promovering, for alle dem, der er involveret i massageverdenen, både som massageudbydere og som massageforbrugere.
