Latest Massage Therapist signing up for the World Championship in Massage is Misaki Hirose from Japan. The International Massage Association has asked her to tell about herself:

Hello, I’m Misaki from Japan.

Looking back at my childhood, I liked massaging my family, and it was as part of communicating.

It’s been 13 years since I seriously learned a lot of massages such as Thai massage, Wu Thai, dynamic massage, Balinese, Lomi Lomi and esthetics.

I don’t only work as a freelance massage therapist and massage instructor but also volunteering through massages, organising massage training sessions and camps to connect lots of therapists.

I will be participating in the Thai massage and freestyle Eastern category.

“Thai massage” is the most necessary thing for me like breathing.

Chiang Mai style Thai massage has many yoga inspiration and it is known as “yoga for two people”.

I would like to relax all of you in the venue who watches my smooth massage techniques inspired by over the world.

Elegant and delicate movement performed by Japanese is must-see.

I look forward to seeing the techniques from all over the world 🙂

Jeg mødte Jeppe Tengbjerg for første gang ved det første World Massage Championship i 2017. Siden da har vi krydset veje mange gange, i forskellige samarbejder relateret til massageverdenen: internationale konkurrencer, danske konkurrencer, kurser, workshops, seminarer, masterclasses mv. . Her var Jeppe skaberen, arrangøren eller i det mindste var han en væsentlig faktor i dannelsen af disse værdifulde platforme for uddannelse, inspiration og promovering, for alle dem, der er involveret i massageverdenen, både som massageudbydere og som massageforbrugere.Jeppe har ydet et kæmpe bidrag til at fremme massageværdier i Danmark og verden. Der kunne siges meget om dette bidrag og om hans egenskaber som professionel og som person. Måske allervigtigst er, at Jeppe Tengbjerg er en inspiration og et forbillede. Han samler flittigt viden og erfaringer, hvorfra han skaber en kilde til ny viden og erfaring til andre og giver den videre.I dag er der allerede mange mennesker i verden, som har nydt godt af det kolossale arbejde, Jeppe konstant udfører. Jeg har taget både grunduddannelsen, skadesterapeut, thai yoga massage samt sundhedsfaglig grunduddannelse hos tengbjerg massørskole og jeg er så tilfreds. Man lærer utrolig meget på kurserne og underviserne er så kompetente! Hvis man overvejer at blive massør, kan jeg på det kraftigste anbefale at man smutter til Næstved! :-)
