Ping Chan, China/Hong Kong
Latest participant at the World Championship in massage 2019 is Ping Chan from China. IMA has asked him to tell about himself.
I’m Ping Chan, born in Hong Kong but currently reside in the beautiful Pacific northwest in the United States.
I have been practicing therapeutic massage for the last 35 years. People are suffering from many diseases in their lives and there is too much restlessness. Each treatment is individualized and tailored to the needs of each client. It is satisfying to know I’ve helped thousands of patients to achieve their goals of living healthier and happier lives.

Major Techniques
– Tai chi Tui na massage
– Acupressure and collateral channels
– Cupping
– Swedish massage
– Lymphatic drainage

I enjoy doing volunteer work with senior citizens in nursing home facilities to help patients with life altering injuries learn techniques to help them be more comfortable and free of pain. It is very satisfying working with people at this stage of life to help them feel cared for, connected, and at peace.
