Participants

Panatda Chuensirisunthon, Australia

Latest Participant at the World Championship in Massage is Panatda Chuensirisunthon from Austalia. The International Massage Association has asked her to tell about herself:

I have studied physiotherapy. Over the years, I have had the opportunity to practice and work on my craft for over 7 years. To ensure a smooth transition into the spa and service industry, I was also fortunate enough to have completed a diploma in Remedial Massage in Canberra, Australia. Today, I run one of the most reputable therapeutic massage and modern day spa in the western suburbs in the countries capital.

I am a curious person and love to learn everything about massage. I have studied a lot of Western & Eastern massage treatments and I love to update my craft every second if I can. I am known to often attend research and training to improve my knowledge.  I believe it is important to travel and enjoy massage from across the globe from many different skilled providers to enjoy and learn about new massage techniques from around the world.

I believe this is important as a massage therapist because I love to take care of my client by finding new massage techniques all the time to offer a wide rage of skills to exceed  my range of client care.  I believe being an innovative therapist will allow me to offer my clients the best quality of massage.

I find that clients often come for a variety of reason.  Perhaps it is to relax their body, their mind and their soul. Therefore the most important tool for a good therapist is trying to tune into the underlying needs of each and every client.  To find out exactly what each individual really need and want to get from a massage session.   We can then start a treatment plan accordingly to address any of these concerns to the best of our professional abilities.

Massage it was not just a kneading or manual therapy technique on the clients body but it is also the art of reading the body history of a client and understanding it deeply within your heart.  By having the right attitude, we can  transcend positive healing energy towards our clients through the natural power of touch.

I completed a diploma in Remedial Massage from Canberra Institute Technique (CIT) in Canberra, Australia.
