Mugurel Mazilu from Romania has just signed up for the World Championship in Massage 2019 in Copenhagen.
He is a dedicated massage therapist who is passionate about health and healing. Specialized in Swedish massage (Classical massage, Sports massage, neuromuscular techniques & stretching).
Mugurel Mazilu was a professional handball player in Romania. Unfortunately, back in 2008 he had a knee injury which stopped him from pursuing his career in sports. When going through the recovery Mugurel was fascinated by the benefits of various massage treatments, so he was keen to learn further. Mugurel decided to study Kinetotherapy (Physical Therapy) at the University Vasile Alecsandri in Bacau, Romania and also work in the local hospital as a volunteer in post trauma recovery department.
In 2017 he moved to UK and continued his studies in the Training Room Private Academy in Luton, where he gained the ITEC Level 3 Diploma in Beauty Therapy Treatments QAN.
Mugurel Mazilu currently work in a 5* Spa in West London and also looking to set up his personal massage business in the near future.
The International Massage Association look forward watching his skills at the World Championship in Massage 2019 in Copenhagen.
