Joshua Chappell, USA
Latest Massage Therapist signing up for the 7th World Championship in Massage is Joshua Chappell from USA. The International Massage Association has asked him to tell about himself.
My name is Joshua Chappell and I am in my 24th year of practicing massage. I am from Spanish Fork, Utah and represent the United States of America (USA)
I graduated in 2001 from Utah College of Massage Therapy when I was only 20. They are no longer in operation. I was in a very bad car accident 3 years prior, and almost died, but massage therapy helped me recover so much! I also got married while I was in massage school to my favorite person, Heather. I practiced massage part-time those first years of marriage, until 2008 when I was able to do massage therapy full time! I purchased a business from my former employer providing massage therapy to people with various disabilities (special needs, or alternately abled) throughout the state of Utah.
I am Nationally Certified through NCBTMB (since 2002) and as such, am required to obtain massage CEUs every year or two. I have been privileged to train with many great massage and bodywork practitioners with their own expertise and years of experience. I specialize in a therapeutic, deep healing style massage. I have combined all my trainings into a full-body, somewhat deep (according to client preference of course) style massage that addresses most of the common areas of discomfort in the muscular system as well as some general work on the skeletal system.

The International Massage Association look forward watching Joshua Chappell skills at the World Championship in Massage in wonderful Copenhagen at the end of June.
