Anneri Van Zyl, South Africa
Latest Massage Therapist signing up for the World Championship in Massage is Anneri Van Zyl from South Africa. The International Massage Association has asked her to tell about herself:
I am an extrovert, bubbly, and very friendly. I am talkative and approachable. I am deeply introspective about myself and I care greatly for people and how to improve their livelihood and self-esteem. I aim to please my clients with the utmost respect and love when it comes to massages and Massage Therapy. In my 14 years in the industry, I’ve come to develop my skills in Holistic Therapy and how to approach messages from a sensitive, yet deep meaningful relationship.
When it comes to massages I prefer to do a freestyle method as I have mostly clients that come to me with major and minor aches and pains including emotional trauma. I use holistic therapy and different massage techniques and movements combined with Swedish, Aroma, Shiatsu, Pregnancy, Infant, and Sports massages to get the results and my client’s wants and needs. I prefer a warm firm palm touch/connection with my client to get the ultimate connection between skin, muscle, body, and soul. I work with my eyes closed to reflect on muscles in an x-ray vision and to connect with my client Hollysticly.
I graduated in 2012 from the Dermatech Hair Health and Skincare Training Institute. Cape Town. South Africa.

I represent South Africa, but mostly Hoedspruit (a small town in Limpopo, South Africa) which made me into the person and therapist I am today, and Namaqualand (a Region in the Northern Cape, South Africa) where I am originally from.
The International Massage Association look forward watching Anneri Van Zyl’s skills at the 7 IMA World Championship in Massage in wonderful Copenhagen, Denmark, at the end of June 2024.
