New IMA Basic Teacher

The International Massage Association is proud to have educated another Massage Teacher. Here are some informations about the new IMA Basic course graduate. We have asked her to tell about herself:

My name is Oksana Tärn. I’m from Estonia.I graduated from medical school in 2006.
From 2007 to 2008 I studied at the Avicenna Tallinn Massage School.

After graduation I started working at a spa hotel.

I took various advanced training courses, and also passed all the stages of Hawaiian massage with Svetlana Anoshina.In 2018 I participated for the first time at the TopSpaFest in Sochi, in 2019 I took part in the championship of St. Petersburg and the North-West region in Russia.

In 2023 I was at the Topspafest in Baku and took third place at the massage championship.

This year I decided to study at International teacher basic course, I have a desire to move to a new professional level.
In June 2024 I will participate in the World Massage Championship in Denmark.

The International Massage World Championships (IMA) in Copenhagen was an extraordinary experience. It provided a unique platform to compete with the best massage therapists in the world and learn advanced techniques at the highest level.The professional exchange, the valuable feedback from the jury and the inspiring atmosphere have significantly expanded my skills. An absolute recommendation for anyone who wants to perfect their art and make international connections.A special thank you goes to Jeppe Tengbjerg, founder and CEO of the International Massage Association and organizer of the World Championships in Massage. Without his vision and commitment, this outstanding event would not have been possible.

I recently had the pleasure of attending a massage seminar jointly organized by IMA Academy and Chiida Academy, and I must say it was a truly enriching experience.
