Latest Massage therapist signing up for the 8^th World Massage Championship in Denmark is Bogdan Mihai. The International Massage Association has asked him to tell about himself:

Hello, my name is Bogdan Mihai from Moldova.

What can I say about myself, I am an ambitious person and I want to develop myself continuously. I have been active in the field of physiotherapy for 7 years. In addition to my bachelor’s and master’s studies, I attended advanced training courses in Russia, the city of Moscow, I came away with quite valuable certificates and diplomas for myself, which I can say that I am proud of. It was quite hard work, because it was in a foreign language, now I know anatomy in Russian as well.

I practice therapeutic massage combined with sports massage.

Therapeutic massage addresses muscle pain, tension and discomfort caused by stress or injuries. It can include deep pressure and manipulation of trigger points.

Sports massage is designed for athletes or active people, it helps prevent injuries and recover quickly. It includes techniques for flexibility and improving blood circulation.

I graduated from the State University of Physical Education and Sports, Faculty of Physiotherapy (Website)

In addition to my undergraduate studies, I also graduated from the master’s degree at the “Dunarea de Jos” University in Galati, Cross-border Faculty, Home Physiotherapy (website)
