Latest Massage Therapist participating at the World Championship in Massage is award winning Csenge Kerekes from Romania and England, The International Massage Association has asked her to tell about herself.

Hi my name is Csenge Kerekes and I am a dedicated advocate for holistic wellbeing. I am a Hungarian girl born in a beautiful little town in Romania. My passion for massage therapy began at the age of 10 after watching my grandfather massaging my mum. I graduated as a Physiotherapist in Romania, but I wanted a more individualized approach to care.

I moved to London straight after my graduation and completed several more massage and beauty courses to complement my expertise. This lead me to open my holistic wellbeing studio four years ago. I specialize in a unique blend of NMT (neuro-muscular techniques), Thai stretching, and Lomi Lomi massage, aiming not only to alleviate physical pain but also to address the root causes of my client’s issues for long-term healing. In 2021 I wanted to challenge myself at the UK Massage Competition and to my surprise I became 2nd in Freestyle category. In 2024 I returned and I received the 1st Place in Freestyle Category for my treatment. Recently, I have also taken on the role of trainer at the prestigious Elemental Massage School, where I share my expertise in Lomi Lomi massage, Thai Yoga, and Reflexology.
