Latest massage therapist to sign up for the World Championship in Massage is Angela Tuon. She is one of the Pioneers who participated online at the World Championship in Massage 2021.The IMA has asked her to tell about herself:

Hello! I am Angela. I am 29 years old and I am a Holistic Operator, I am attending MCB to improve my skills.

For this competition i decided to participate in two categories:

– Wellness massage or Freestyle massage (Western Inspired)

– Freestyle Massage (Eastern Inspired)

The massage that I have decided to present for the Wellness Inspired is the “Sparkling White Wine Massage”.

It is a relaxing massage, light and enveloping maneuvers that relax the client’s body, mind and spirit.

It is a massage that combines several techniques that I have combined to create a unique treatment.

Unique not only in the maneuvers but also in the products used.

The wine massage is a tribute to the land where I was born to highlight one of the most appreciated and known products in the world.

Directly from the Conegliano-Valdobbiadene Prosecco Hills, recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, I combined grapeseed oil, cold-pressed grape seeds, and the typical wine of this protected and unique area in the world, giving life to a light oil massage that hydrates and at the same time stimulates microcirculation thanks to the sparkling characteristic given by the fermentation of this wine.

The scent of this oil is unique and heady reminiscent of the fresh fruit scent with a very slight hint of bread crust.

This massage is placed in the category of WELLNESS MASSAGE because it combines the characteristics of aromatherapy and at the same time a luxury spa treatment with lymphatic effects.

The second massage I would like to propose is the combination of Ayurvedic massage, pinda sweda and the use of Tibetan bells.

This is a relaxing massage that has its origin in the origin of the massage.

Also in this case the massage is personalized and studied. In fact, the pinda is not the classic massage but it uses dry heated bags containing Himalayan salt and various spices created by hand for each individual customer.

A freestyle massage that falls into the Eastern Inspired category.
