Elvira Gentile, Italy

Latest participant at the World Championship in Massage 2019 is Elvira Gentile from Italy. IMA has asked her to tell about herself:

I am Elvira Gentile, I am ITALIAN and I work in a luxury SPA near ROME, of which I am also the owner.  I am specialized and graduated as a beautician and masseuse and I have 29 years of work experience.

This time enabled me to become a teacher and especially a teacher of MY massage techniques in ITALY and ABROAD. In 2017 I was ranked first in the Italian championships for massage, with my “LOVE FOR LIFE MASSAGE” a type of massage that I created myself.  

Later, I participated in the world massage championships in MOSCOW in RUSSIA, receiving certificates of esteem for my innovative massage techniques.

I am specialized in various massage techniques but above all I have a strong working background in psychosomatics, in massage and body reflexology, having great passion for them and having done twenty years of studies in the two subjects. Through the years I participated to the most important international beauty fairs in ITALY, including COSMOPROF BOLOGNA, ROME, NAPLES… always showing my massage techniques. 

Furthermore, I am adviser of the E.M.A.  (EUROPEAN MASSAGE ASSOCIATION) and I held the position of judge in the “wellness and spa” category in the last European massage championships held in ITALY. On the 18th and 19th of May I will be a guest of honor at the 2nd GOYANO CONGRESS of ESTHETICS and SPA in ARGENTINA, where I will hold a seminar and on the 20th May I will also hold a massage course in ARGENTINA of my working techniques, including the “LOVE  FOR LIFE MASSAGE” and the “SOUL ON FACE MASSAGE “. 

I will perform at the WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP MASSAGE in both days in the WELLNESS category with my ” LOVE FOR LIFE MASSAGE “and paired with Khaled Shehada will perform a 4-hand massage. In the massage I always have a creed: “see where others usually do not see”.
