Latest Massage Therapist signing up for the 8th World Championship in Massage is Dace Horna from Latvia. The International Massage Association has asked her to tell about herself:

Since 2019, massage has been my passion. Massage became my daily life unexpectedly, but I am in my place. For the past 3 years (after COVID) I have been actively improving my skills, abilities and knowledge and now I am ready to show myself to the world.

These years I have been searching for myself in various massage styles – sports, deep tissue, vacuum, myofascial, SPA and massage for functional disorders and illnesses. I love to look for the cause of problems, because the cause of pain is often somewhere else.

I think I’ll see myself in the championship in the massage category – Free style massage (Western inspired).

I had the honor of participating in the 7th Massage Competition held in Copenhagen, Denmark, last June about 250 over participants from 50 over countries.During this event, I encountered numerous massage therapists who profoundly inspired me till now, we made connectionson social media, learning new techniques from them as well.The competition venue was expansive and expertly designed to accommodate all categories of massage.Mr. Jeppe, my greatest idol, was exceptionally engaged throughout the event.
