Latest Massage Therapists who has signed up for the 8th World Championship in Massage is Pamela Locatelli from Italy. The Internatonal massage association has asked her to tell about herself:

I am 43 years old and for 13 years I have been the owner of a beauty salon in Romano di Lombardia, Bergamo, Italy.
After graduating as a beautician I took a course in classic massage (Menarini) and then a course in relaxing massage at the bcm in Milan, a school recognized at European level. https://www.bcm.it/formazione/

In 2009 I took a trip to Asia, taking a 5-week course at ITM in Chang Mai
https://www.itmthaimassage.com/ and another in India, Kerala, of ayurveda, but never in depth (I don’t remember the name of the school)

In 2013 I took a course in England, in Brighton of stone massage at the Jing Institute of massage. https://www.jingmassage.com/

Between 2012 and today I have worked with a leading company in cosmetology, [comfortzone], where I have participated in most of the courses as rituals they offer at spa level. https://it.comfortzoneskin.com/

Let’s say that in these years my diamond tip has always been a deep decontracting massage mixing Thai ‘nuadboran’ and stone techniques, using oil and not, I have created my own massage, customizing it for each client.

In 2023 I will take part in a course in Milan to learn and understand the mouth massage and its anti-aging effects.

Following this instagram account, I discovered Wassa and I took part in one of her courses in Vienna and then in Bologna, with Anna Baroni and here a whole new world opened up to me.

I had the honor of participating in the 7th Massage Competition held in Copenhagen, Denmark, last June about 250 over participants from 50 over countries.
During this event, I encountered numerous massage therapists who profoundly inspired me till now, we made connectionson social media, learning new techniques from them as well.
The competition venue was expansive and expertly designed to accommodate all categories of massage.

Mr. Jeppe, my greatest idol, was exceptionally engaged throughout the event. His energy seemed boundless, akin to a rechargeable battery, as he was present everywhere, capturing videos and photographs of all participants and conducting interviews with us.

Wishing all my fellow "muscle kneaders" the best of luck; may you enjoy this truly remarkable experience in your lives!

I extend my gratitude to IMA for providing this extraordinary opportunity to showcase our talents to the world.

Jeg mødte Jeppe Tengbjerg for første gang ved det første World Massage Championship i 2017. Siden da har vi krydset veje mange gange, i forskellige samarbejder relateret til massageverdenen: internationale konkurrencer, danske konkurrencer, kurser, workshops, seminarer, masterclasses mv. . Her var Jeppe skaberen, arrangøren eller i det mindste var han en væsentlig faktor i dannelsen af disse værdifulde platforme for uddannelse, inspiration og promovering, for alle dem, der er involveret i massageverdenen, både som massageudbydere og som massageforbrugere.
Jeppe har ydet et kæmpe bidrag til at fremme massageværdier i Danmark og verden. Der kunne siges meget om dette bidrag og om hans egenskaber som professionel og som person. Måske allervigtigst er, at Jeppe Tengbjerg er en inspiration og et forbillede. Han samler flittigt viden og erfaringer, hvorfra han skaber en kilde til ny viden og erfaring til andre og giver den videre.

Jeg har taget både grunduddannelsen, skadesterapeut, thai yoga massage samt sundhedsfaglig grunduddannelse hos tengbjerg massørskole og jeg er så tilfreds. Man lærer utrolig meget på kurserne og underviserne er så kompetente! Hvis man overvejer at blive massør, kan jeg på det kraftigste anbefale at man smutter til Næstved! :-)
