Chudawan Wasuwan, Thailand
Award winning Massage therapist Chudawan Wasuwan from Thailand is participating at the 8th World Championship in Massage 2025 in Copenhagen. The International Massage Association has asked her to tell about herself:
Hi everyone! My name is Chudawan Wasuwan, but you can call me Jem. I’m originally from Thailand and now living in Germany.
Massage has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. When I was just 2 or 3 years old, my dad would ask, “My back hurts, can you walk on it for me?”
I graduated from the State Vocational Massage School at LMU Ludwig Maximilian University Munich Hospital https://www.bszg.lmu-klinikum.de/bfs-massage, and I’ve had the privilege of training with several renowned Thai teachers, including Pathompon Aiyarattanaruk, Pongpol Aiyarattanaruk, Wassa Lakkham, Suwit Sritrairasri, Aungkulee Lawler, Thana Srisomparn, and Sansak Chokpaseatnam.
I work both in spa hotels and hospitals, and I truly enjoy welcoming guests from all over the world.
My massage style blends traditional Thai techniques with Asian ceremonial beliefs, as well as innovative tools and stretches that I’ve created myself.
I started competing in massage championships just a year ago, and I absolutely love the energy at these events. Every time I participate, I meet more wonderful friends from around the world.
I’m really looking forward to reconnecting with my therapist friends from across the globe. See you in Copenhagen!
