The Latest Massage Therapist signing up for the 7th World Championship in Massage is Tomoko Sekiguchi from Japan. The International Massage Association has asked her to introduce herself:
Hi, I’m Tomoko Sekiguchi from Japan.
I have 24 years of experience as a therapist and currently manage a private salon in Tokyo and teach “Zen Oil Therapy Atsu” as a therapist trainer in Japan and other countries. I’m the inventor of Zen oil therapy Atsu, which combines Shiatsu and oil massage.
This massage technique uses a unique treatment posture to apply deep pressure without pain. This posture is sometimes said to be like traditional Japanese Budo (martial arts). I am looking forward to introducing everyone to the art of quiet oil massage, where both client and therapist are deeply in touch with themselves.
