The Art of Massage Conquers Malaysia: Triumph in Putrajaya for the South East Asia Massage Championship
A bridge between East, West, and the Americas: 158 talents and 8 categories for a world-class event signed by an exceptional Italian-Malaysian team.
PUTRAJAYA (Malaysia) – The spotlights have just dimmed on one of the most prestigious and vibrant events in the global wellness landscape: the South East Asia Massage Championship. From January 16th to 19th, the majestic setting of Putrajaya was transformed into the global capital of massage, hosting a competition that successfully united technique, heart, and culture.
A Winning Synergy
The extraordinary success of this event is not accidental; it is the result of the shared vision and tireless work of four fundamental pillars. The event was born from a perfect fusion between Italy and Malaysia, orchestrated by Elvira Gentile and her husband Daniele(founders CHAMPIONSHIP MASSAGE ASSOCIATION), together with Madam Rose and her husband Khairul(PERSATUAN URUTAN MALAYSIA).A compact organizing team that, with passion and dedication, built a “bridge” capable of breaking down geographical distances in the name of professional excellence.

A Melting Pot of Cultures
The numbers testify to the magnitude of the feat: 158 participants arrived in Putrajaya, carrying with them the pride of their nations. An international lineup saw the flags of Japan, Australia, China, Singapore, Ireland, Vietnam, Spain, Thailand, the USA, and naturally, a strong and warm representation from Italy and Malaysia. During those days, Putrajaya was not just a competition venue, but a meeting place for kindred spirits.
Excellence and Categories
Under the watchful eye of international judges, selected for their undeniable experience, professionals challenged each other across 8 categories, covering every nuance of massage:
Western (Western Techniques)
Wellness
Sport (Sports Massage)
Beginners
Aesthetic
Asian (Asian Techniques)
International
Face (Face Massage)
The Champions
The technical level was incredibly high, making the jury’s task arduous. In the end, three names shined, conquering the absolute titles:
International Champion: Japan’s Atsuki Saito, who enchanted everyone with his mastery.

Women’s Category Champion: The extraordinary Lai Zhi Yan.

Men’s Category Champion: The talented Muhamad Farhan.

A Message for the Future
At the end of this emotional journey, Elvira Gentile, speaking on behalf of the entire organizing group’s pride, dedicated a profound thought to those who made this dream possible:
“Looking at what we have built together, I want to send a message to you all: chase your dreams. No matter how distant or difficult they may seem. Dreams, if nurtured with consistency and courage, sooner or later become reality and materialize before our eyes. This championship is living proof of that.”
An event that closes with a triumphant outcome, confirming that thanks to the commitment of Daniele, Elvira, Rose, and Khairul, massage is truly a universal language of peace and beauty.
