Latest Massage Therapist signing up for the 9th World Massage Championship is Stéphanie Datil from France. The International Massage Association has asked her to tell about herself:

My name is Stéphanie DATIL, I’m a massage therapist and trained at the Magic Hands School for over 4 years. I used to live in the Amazon region of French Guiana, and I recently moved to Guadeloupe.

Traveling has taught me a lot; I speak English, Spanish and French. I love learning and constantly challenging myself in the field of massage therapy. That’s why I registered for the World Massage Championship.

I’m currently training with Doris Martel, who works in the NBA (Basketball). I aspire to become an expert sports massage therapist, so I’m practicing as much as possible to be ready by July 2026. I will go to Thailandia in november to accompany The Jujitsu French team for the World Championship.

The different types of massages I offer are:

Sport massages with deep tissue techniques. These are intense and very deep, as they promote recovery, muscle regeneration, and better blood circulation.
Relaxation massages, which help with better concentration, improved sleep, and full-body release. Many people fall asleep in a bubble of well-being.
ATMA aquatic massages, performed in the sea or in a pool. These guide clients into meditation, introspection, and reconnection.

I had the honor of participating in the 7th Massage Competition held in Copenhagen, Denmark, last June about 250 over participants from 50 over countries.
During this event, I encountered numerous massage therapists who profoundly inspired me till now, we made connectionson social media, learning new techniques from them as well.
The competition venue was expansive and expertly designed to accommodate all categories of massage.

Mr. Jeppe, my greatest idol, was exceptionally engaged throughout the event. His energy seemed boundless, akin to a rechargeable battery, as he was present everywhere, capturing videos and photographs of all participants and conducting interviews with us.

Wishing all my fellow "muscle kneaders" the best of luck; may you enjoy this truly remarkable experience in your lives!

I extend my gratitude to IMA for providing this extraordinary opportunity to showcase our talents to the world.

Jeg mødte Jeppe Tengbjerg for første gang ved det første World Massage Championship i 2017. Siden da har vi krydset veje mange gange, i forskellige samarbejder relateret til massageverdenen: internationale konkurrencer, danske konkurrencer, kurser, workshops, seminarer, masterclasses mv. . Her var Jeppe skaberen, arrangøren eller i det mindste var han en væsentlig faktor i dannelsen af disse værdifulde platforme for uddannelse, inspiration og promovering, for alle dem, der er involveret i massageverdenen, både som massageudbydere og som massageforbrugere.
Jeppe har ydet et kæmpe bidrag til at fremme massageværdier i Danmark og verden. Der kunne siges meget om dette bidrag og om hans egenskaber som professionel og som person. Måske allervigtigst er, at Jeppe Tengbjerg er en inspiration og et forbillede. Man lærer utrolig meget på kurserne og underviserne er så kompetente! Hvis man overvejer at blive massør, kan jeg på det kraftigste anbefale at man smutter til Næstved! :-)
