Latest Massage Therapist signing up for the 9th World Championship in Massage is Serena Marie Licastro from USA. The International Massage Association has asked her to tell about herself:

My name is Serena Marie Licastro, and I am proud to represent the USA at the World Massage Championship in Denmark. I am a Licensed Massage Therapist and Licensed Aesthetician with over 25 years of experience, and I am a brand ambassador for the luxury skincare brand Natura Bissé.

I specialize in manual lymphatic contouring (no machines), as well as myofascial techniques for both face and body. My practice also incorporates a blend of ASHI Thai and Sarga bodywork, allowing me to create customized treatments for each client.

My background is in luxury hospitality, with experience at Robert De Niro’s Greenwich Hotel’s Spa Shibui in NYC and Trump Soho.

I now own two practices: a beautiful studio in Staten Island and a space in Tribeca, Where I am part of the Erika Bloom Wellness Collective.

My clientele includes celebrities and loyal, high-end clients who value my dedication and results-driven approach. I also teach a CEU-certified class called Contemporary Face Sculpting, focused on myofascial release for the face, open to massage therapists, acupuncturists, estheticians, and physical therapists.

I am a graduate of the Swedish Institute of Massage Therapy and Allied Sciences in New York City.

For the championship, I will be presenting my Contemporary Face Sculpting and a freestyle routine that combines myofascial work and stretching. I will also submit a separate video for ASHI techniques at a later date, as I will not have my bars with me.

I had the honor of participating in the 7th Massage Competition held in Copenhagen, Denmark, last June about 250 over participants from 50 over countries.During this event, I encountered numerous massage therapists who profoundly inspired me till now, we made connectionson social media, learning new techniques from them as well.The competition venue was expansive and expertly designed to accommodate all categories of massage.Mr. Jeppe, my greatest idol, was exceptionally engaged throughout the event.
