Rimantas Bruzbartas, Norway
Latest Massage Therapist signing up for the 8th World Championship in Massage is Rimantas Bruzbartas from Norway. The International Massage Association has asked him to introduce himself:
Hi, my name is Rimantas Bruzbartas, I am a passionate and motivated massage therapist with an intuitive approach to healing. I combine my technical skills with deep intuition to adapt each session to the unique needs of my clients—providing the kind of massage their body truly requires. My aim is to guide clients into a state of deep relaxation, comfort, and overall well-being by blending learned techniques with my natural sensitivity and presence.
I recently earned my massage therapy certification from the Sports Massage Academy Europe in Tenerife (2024) https://sportsandmassagecourseseurope.com/
Focusing primarily on Deep Tissue Massage within the context of sports maintenance and injury recovery. This style of therapy is especially effective for those with active lifestyles, chronic tension, or recovering from physical injuries.
My approach blends deep tissue and holistic massage techniques, targeting areas of pain and tension to provide maximum relief and restore balance. Each session is tailored to leave the client with a profound sense of calm and restoration.
My professional journey began in the hotel and leisure industry, where I spent most of my adult life working in various roles across Greece, Lithuania, and later the United Kingdom. It was in London, in 2017, that my passion for helping others through wellness truly began to take shape.
Background:
I worked as a personal trainer in residential gyms and wellness centers, including notable locations such as:
Chelsea Harbour Club (Lifeguard)
Royal Free Hospital Recreation Club (Personal Trainer & Duty Manager)
Sites managed by Educated Body (formerly Raw Cooperative Health), including:
Nuffield Health, Canary Wharf
The Corniche
The Riverside
The Bow Quarters
These experiences helped me develop a deep understanding of the wellness industry while also revealing my natural ability to connect with people—an asset that continues to guide my work today.
A New Direction
During the COVID-19 pandemic, I found myself living in Australia doing random jobs and later Norway, where I felt called to transition into the therapeutic wellness field.
In 2022, I became a certified yoga instructor through D’Vine Yoga Ashram in Rishikesh, India. This experience profoundly deepened my understanding of the mental, emotional, and spiritual aspects of healing. I often incorporate breathing techniques, mindfulness practices, and gentle movement to help clients reconnect with their bodies and calm their nervous systems.
Holding space for individuals experiencing stress, and guiding them to trust in the healing process, is one of the most valuable skills I’ve gained from both my training and life experiences.
What I Offer
During treatments, I integrate my background in yoga and personal training to provide holistic guidance. I often offer advice on postural alignment, breathwork, and gentle reconnection exercises to support recovery and overall wellness.
I’m committed to continuing my journey in the therapeutic field—helping others feel better, move better, and live with greater awareness of their body and mind.
