Latest Massage Therapist signing up for the 8th World Championship in Massage is Pauline Lemaire from France. The International Massage Association has asked her to tell about herself:

“Massage is more than just a profession for me — it is a way of life, a calling to which I am fully devoted. I trained across the globe, through journeys that became my greatest source of learning. I’ve had the honor of studying with masters of ancestral and alternative medicine, whose wisdom still guides my practice today. Their teachings deeply shaped how I understand and care for the human being in all their complexity.

Today, I continue my work through holistic research on the human being — body, emotions, and personal history. I explore the connections between touch, emotional states, and the latest scientific insights into massage’s role in health.

As a French practitioner, I am dedicated to advocating for massage to be recognized as a true therapeutic practice — something that is still not officially acknowledged in France. With this goal in mind, I founded my school in Toulon, in the south of France. It is a place devoted to sharing rare and valuable knowledge. I teach there with passion, alongside instructors from around the world who bring unique traditions, techniques, and perspectives.

I absolutely love coming to Copenhagen every year — it’s an unmissable gathering for passionate massage therapists from all over the world, and always feels like a joyful reunion with this global family.

Participating in this championship is my way of honoring this journey — and carrying forward the values of massage as an art, a science, and a healing connection.”

I had the honor of participating in the 7th Massage Competition held in Copenhagen, Denmark, last June about 250 over participants from 50 over countries.During this event, I encountered numerous massage therapists who profoundly inspired me till now, we made connectionson social media, learning new techniques from them as well.The competition venue was expansive and expertly designed to accommodate all categories of massage.Mr. Jeppe, my greatest idol, was exceptionally engaged throughout the event.
