Latest Massage Therapist participating at the 9th World Championship in Massage 2026 in wonderful Copenhagen is Oksana Smirnova from Latvia. The International Massage Association has asked her to tell about herself:

My name is Oksana. I am 36 years old. I live in Latvia, in the village of Malta. I am not only a massage therapist but also a wife and a mother of two wonderful girls.

Massage for me is both a profession and a life’s calling – it provides the opportunity to help people regain health, balance, and inner peace with my hands. Every day at work, I see how powerful the healing energy of touch can be and how important it is to care not only for the body but also for the soul.

I specialize in therapeutic massage for adults and children. It is based on classic massage, which I supplement with various techniques such as cupping, trigger point development, as well as muscle relaxation or toning depending on the client’s needs. Each massage I perform combines scientifically-based techniques with an intuitive and empathetic approach, creating a balance between body and soul well-being.

I The graduated as a massage therapist from P. Stradiņš Medical College of the University of Latvia.

I had the honor of participating in the 7th Massage Competition held in Copenhagen, Denmark, last June about 250 over participants from 50 over countries.During this event, I encountered numerous massage therapists who profoundly inspired me till now, we made connectionson social media, learning new techniques from them as well.The competition venue was expansive and expertly designed to accommodate all categories of massage.Mr. Jeppe, my greatest idol, was exceptionally engaged throughout the event.
