Latest Massage Therapist signing up for the 2026 World Championship in Massage is Carolina Mouro from The Netherlands. The International Massage Association has asked het to tell about herself:

My name is Carolina Mouro, I’m 26 years old, and I carry my roots from Portugal, but my professional dream is flourishing today in the Netherlands. From a young age, I knew my path had to involve human contact and the ability to help others. This conviction took shape during my school years when the opportunity to take a course in Thermalism (spa treatments/hydrotherapy) arose—it was the moment of clarity, the absolute certainty of my professional destiny. Although I explored other paths, what truly moved me never left my sight. The big turning point came when I moved to the Netherlands and decided to open my own salon. It was there that I stopped simply “working” and started living my passion. The chance to continually delve into new courses, complementing my techniques, and, most importantly, the visible relief and satisfaction of my clients after every treatment, is the daily confirmation that I have found my complete happiness in the world of massage and well-being.

I had the honor of participating in the 7th Massage Competition held in Copenhagen, Denmark, last June about 250 over participants from 50 over countries.During this event, I encountered numerous massage therapists who profoundly inspired me till now, we made connectionson social media, learning new techniques from them as well.The competition venue was expansive and expertly designed to accommodate all categories of massage.Mr. Jeppe, my greatest idol, was exceptionally engaged throughout the event.
