Latest participant at the World Championship in Massage is Nile Curtis from Switzerland. IMA has asked him to tell about himself.
I am a 196cm man, 43 years old, and of mixed Irish and Swiss descent. I have both American and Swiss citizenship. My style of massage is lomi lomi (Hawaiian massage) with an emphasis on structural and rehabilitative work. I unofficially call it deep lomi lomi.
From where did you graduate as a massage therapist? (please write name of schools and websites)
I initially graduated in 2003 from the Institute of Psycho Structural Balancing (IPSB) in Culver City, California, in the United States of America. Home is their website. I have further training and diplomas with Carrie Rowell whose website is here: Hamoea :: Home. I also have undocumented training with a Kahuna and Kahu, keepers of old Hawaiian culture, here in Hawaii.
I have a very light internet presence as I now work full time at the Four Seasons Naupaka Spa here on Oahu. All I have is a website: Home
The International Massage Association look forward watching Nile Curtis skills at the World Championship in Massage 2019 in Copenhagen.
