New IMA Basic Teacher
Another massage teacher has completed the IMA approved International Teacher Basic Course. The International Massage Association has asked her to tell about herself and she experienced the course.
My name is Margarita Germ, I was born and studied in St. Petersburg, now I live in Riga, Latvia.
I have been fond of massage since 2000. My favorite techniques are classical, Thai, Spanish, Hawaiian, and holistic massages. My clients are very different, but they are united by one thing – the desire to work on themselves – to work with both the physical and psychological components of their health. Therefore, I not only conduct massage sessions, but also conduct classes in yoga, self-massage, body-oriented psychological practices and Thai massage in pairs.
I chose the International Massage Teacher course to start paying even more attention to the pedagogical aspect of my life. I have accumulated a lot of experience in massage, in the anatomical and physiological, functional vision of the body. This is what I want to pass on to my students. The International Massage Teacher course expanded my understanding of professional adult education, new modern e-learning methods, marketing techniques, the highest standards of service, long-term planning of my activities, evaluation of massages and treatments.
I am very grateful to the team of IMA teachers for their high professionalism and love for their work, that they generously share with their students.
I sincerely recommend this course for anyone who is going to teach or already teaches massage, as well as for managers and owners of massage schools. This will expand your horizons, give you the opportunity to keep up with the times, as experts in this field have already gained a wealth of experience and share it in this course. Even if you are a professional, you will be interested to meet with the opinions of colleagues on the most relevant issues in the field of massage teaching.
Thank you to the team, I will be happy to continue to take part in the IMA training and festival programs!
