Latest Massage Therapist to sign up for the 8th World Massage Championship is Liqi Xing from China. The International Massage Association has asked her to tell about herself:

My name is Liqi Xing, professional massage therapist from China with 25 years of experience. I specialize in traditional Chinese massage and Spa aromatherapy massage, having earned high recognition for my refined techniques and professional service, including working with film celebrities early in my career. My Chinese massage is rooted in meridian therapy, balancing Yin and Yang through bilateral techniques, starting from the Fengchi and Fengfu acupoints on the neck to effectively relieve head and neck tension.

I focus on precisely identifying fatigue points across the body, targeting areas between muscles and bones for relaxation, promoting the flow of Qi and blood through meridian unblocking, and enhancing overall relaxation and balance. My Spa massage emphasizes fluidity and continuous contact, with movements as graceful as a dance, paired with aromatherapy oils to create a deeply relaxing experience. Tailoring to each client’s fatigue levels, I skillfully blend Chinese and Spa techniques, adjusting pressure and rhythm to ensure full-body relaxation, while managing time effectively to balance and relax every muscle, leaving clients with a sense of lightness and comfort. I am highly attuned to clients’ muscle responses, intuitively adjusting pressure for optimal comfort.

I had the honor of participating in the 7th Massage Competition held in Copenhagen, Denmark, last June about 250 over participants from 50 over countries.During this event, I encountered numerous massage therapists who profoundly inspired me till now, we made connectionson social media, learning new techniques from them as well.The competition venue was expansive and expertly designed to accommodate all categories of massage.Mr. Jeppe, my greatest idol, was exceptionally engaged throughout the event.
