Kodchanan Rodriguez, USA/Thailand
Latest Massage Therapists to register the 8th World Championship in Massage is Kodchanan Rodriguez from USA/Thailand. The International Massage Association has asked her to tell about herself:
My name is Kodchanan Rodriguez, but you can call me Pui. I am 35 years old. I was born and raised in a small village in Northern Thailand, where I first learned the power of touch. Since I was young, I massaged my parents by walking on their back after their long days of work. Even though I explored other things, something always brought me back to massage. I finally followed my heart and graduated from massage school in Chiang Mai in 2013.
In 2015, I moved to the U.S. and had to put my dreams on hold while I adjusted to a new culture and language. But during the pandemic, I went back to massage school in the U.S. and found my passion again. I realized massage is not just a job—it is a way to heal, connect, and change lives, one person at a time.
Now, I am a licensed massage therapist in Florida and National Board Certified. I specialize in Thai Lanna Massage, blending ancient Northern Thai techniques with modern therapy. At my full-time job in a five-star hotel spa in West Palm Beach, I mainly perform Western-style massages for guests seeking luxury and relaxation. But in my private studio in Delray Beach, I focus on Thai Lanna Massage, bringing the authentic healing traditions of Northern Thailand to my clients.
My journey has been about dedication, resilience, and love for healing. Every massage I give comes from my heart, helping people feel better—physically, mentally, and emotionally.
I graduated from:
– Palm Beach State College (750 hours Massage Therapy Program) (https://www.palmbeachstate.edu)
– The Union of Thai Traditional Medicine Society (372 hours Thai massage, 60 hours Aromatherapy massage, and 60 hours reflexology massage)(https://www.unionthaiculture.com/)
