The latest participant of the World Championship in Massage is Jenalyn Gato Korenčan, from the Philippines. IMA has asked her to tell about herself:
My name is Jenalyn Gato Korenčan, from the Philippines, but I am now living here in Slovenia and the owner of Ifeelspa Filipinska Masaža. I provide deep tissue and active release techniques with a combination of classical massage and reflexology.
My journey began 17years ago, after finishing a diploma in automotive mechanic, I studied caregiving and reflexology massage. Had a privileged to work from prestigious hotels and wellness in my country and here in Slovenia.I had spent 17 years of practicing and improving my skills, attending seminars and workshops here in Slovenia and lastly I participated in EMA. The first European massage Championship was held in Spilamberto Italy, wherein I saw different techniques and found new friends and acquaintances.Throughout my tenure as a massage therapist, I helped people recover from illness/injury, experience relief from chronic muscle pain and bring back their trust to an alternative and therapeutic treatment.
