Jelena Adamovic, Serbia
Latest Massage Therapist participating at the 2026 World Championship in Massage is Jelena Adamovic from Serbia. The IMA has asked her to tell about herself:
My name is Jelena Adamovic, and I am a professional massage therapist and physiotherapy specialist from Serbia.
I graduated from the High School for Physiotherapy “Hipokrat” and later continued my education at ICEPS College of Physiotherapy.
Over the years, I have completed multiple professional educations and certifications in:
- Sports massage
- Therapeutic massage
- Silicone cupping therapy
- Hijama cupping therapy
- Lymphatic drainage
My educators and mentors are Julijana Kostic and Vladimir Paunov, who is a vice champion in massage therapy competitions.
My biggest passion is sports massage because I work closely with athletes and truly enjoy helping with muscle recovery, relaxation, injury prevention, and improving physical performance. I believe that proper recovery is just as important as training itself, and sports massage is one of the best ways to support the body and overall wellness.
In my work, I combine different massage techniques with an individual approach for every client, focusing on recovery, pain relief, circulation improvement, and deep muscle relaxation.
