Latest Massage Therapist signing up for the 9th World Championship in Massage is Isabelle Guillien from France. The International Massage Association has asked her to tell about herself:

I am a facialist who is passionate about her job, but before being an expert of faces I’m Isabelle Guillien, a 5-children-mother, and a 49 years old woman. Indeed, to be honest, I’ve had several professional lives, I’ve been a pattern maker in Haute-Couture, a teacher assistant in kindergarten, and even a dance teacher with my own dancing school. Additionally, as much as I’ve been enjoying discovering new professional activities, I’ve always loved getting to know some new places ofthe world which led me to live 9 years in Qatar. However, I strongly believe that all those experiences are in some way linked, as they all seem to be connected by this need for human interaction but also through this necessity of creation and passion. My determination has now allowed me to welcome my clients, with contentment and indulgence, in my studio in Nantes, France. Today, I’m here, writing to you because I love challenging myself and I think that taking part in this competition beside talented facialists, could really blossom my expertise, my proficiency and obviously my skills.

Concerning my training courses, I did a Facialist course at the Académie des Facialistes in Paris, with the LB Facialist Method including courses about Stretching, Kobido, Gua Sha and Detox. On the one hand I have followed all the Kobido courses at the academy, that is to say the three different levels. On the other hand, I felt the need to get to know even more about this really inspiring job, so I followed the Myoplasty and the Interstitial courses of Dr. Shchurevich.

Today, it is with pride and pleasure that I would like to represent France.

Last but not least, for my massage, I would like to offer a performance which gathers some choregraphed, deep, fast, slow and multifaced maneuvers in order to provide a relaxed, smoothed as well as sculpted face. Indeed, as I like to say “Révelez éclat de votre beauté avec l’art du facialisme”, namely “Reveal the radiance of your beauty with the art of facialism”, is my one and only priority.

I had the honor of participating in the 7th Massage Competition held in Copenhagen, Denmark, last June about 250 over participants from 50 over countries.
During this event, I encountered numerous massage therapists who profoundly inspired me till now, we made connectionson social media, learning new techniques from them as well.
The competition venue was expansive and expertly designed to accommodate all categories of massage.

Mr. Jeppe, my greatest idol, was exceptionally engaged throughout the event. His energy seemed boundless, akin to a rechargeable battery, as he was present everywhere, capturing videos and photographs of all participants and conducting interviews with us.

Wishing all my fellow "muscle kneaders" the best of luck; may you enjoy this truly remarkable experience in your lives!

I extend my gratitude to IMA for providing this extraordinary opportunity to showcase our talents to the world.

Jeg mødte Jeppe Tengbjerg for første gang ved det første World Massage Championship i 2017. Siden da har vi krydset veje mange gange, i forskellige samarbejder relateret til massageverdenen: internationale konkurrencer, danske konkurrencer, kurser, workshops, seminarer, masterclasses mv. . Her var Jeppe skaberen, arrangøren eller i det mindste var han en væsentlig faktor i dannelsen af disse værdifulde platforme for uddannelse, inspiration og promovering, for alle dem, der er involveret i massageverdenen, både som massageudbydere og som massageforbrugere.
Jeppe har ydet et kæmpe bidrag til at fremme massageværdier i Danmark og verden. Der kunne siges meget om dette bidrag og om hans egenskaber som professionel og som person. Måske allervigtigst er, at Jeppe Tengbjerg er en inspiration og et forbillede. Han samler flittigt viden og erfaringer, hvorfra han skaber en kilde til ny viden og erfaring til andre og giver den videre.

Jeg har taget både grunduddannelsen, skadesterapeut, thai yoga massage samt sundhedsfaglig grunduddannelse hos tengbjerg massørskole og jeg er så tilfreds. Man lærer utrolig meget på kurserne og underviserne er så kompetente! Hvis man overvejer at blive massør, kan jeg på det kraftigste anbefale at man smutter til Næstved! :-)
