Latest Massage Therapist signing up for the World Championship in Massage is Hallur Jon Bluhme Sævarsson from Iceland. The International Massage Association has asked him to tell about himself:

I am a graduated Physiurgical Massage Therapist & Sports Massage Therapist from the School of Body Treatment (Massageskolen.com) in Lyngby and I am the owner of Saga Massage

In addition, I have taken various courses, for instance:

Japanese Shiatsu at Tengbjerg Massage School
Thai / Indian Yoga Massage at LagoCph
Hawaiian Lomi Lomi Massage at Massageskolen.com / Robie Valenzuela.

I was born in Iceland and I have lived in Denmark most of my life. I live in Lyngby with my family.

The joy of giving massage and doing something good for others is an important part of my life. I can go in depth when needed – and at the same time give a relaxing, meditative massage for the great overall experience. I immerse myself in various massage skills and I enjoy experimenting and combining the classic massage techniques with elements from both Nordic and Eastern origins.

It is important to remember that we all need regular physical contact, presence, calm and well-being in body and soul. This is exactly what massage treatments can provide – in addition to relieving pain and tension, stimulating the circulation and strengthening the immune system and much more.

My Saga Massage therapy is based on traditional Western, Nordic and Eastern massage techniques ~ physiurgical massage therapy, mobilisation, oscillation, geothermal therapy, connective tissue massage, in-depth sports massage, stretching, acupressure and stimulating wellness massage.

My goal is to create deeper wellness for my clients with unique massage experiences specially adapted to their needs and desires.
