Latest Massage Therapist signing up for the 8th World Championship in Massage is Eldar Mgebrishvili from Georgia. The International Massage Association has asked hi to tell about himself:

My name is Eldar Mgebrishvili. I am 29 years old and have been officially working as a massage therapist since 2024, operating from my own practice.

I specialize in therapeutic, sports, spa, and wellness body massages. In addition, I apply various facial massage techniques.

I am the first massage therapist in Georgia to work on the release of psychosomatic muscle blocks. This approach enables comprehensive myofascial and muscular chain release, helping eliminate compensatory patterns in the body.

In October 2024, I participated for the first time in the 2nd Regional and 7th Eurasian Massage Championship held in Georgia, where I achieved the following results:
– 1st place in the Facial Massage category (Georgia)
– 3rd place in the Body Freestyle category (Georgia)
– 3rd place in the Facial Massage category (Eurasia)

In February 2025, I took part in the 8th Eurasian Massage Championship, where I achieved:
– 1st place in the Facial Massage category
– 2nd place in the Body Freestyle category

I was awarded the title of Absolute Champion of Eurasia.

1- place in the freestyle mix GL championship
3- place in the Facial massage GL championship.
3- place in the absolute champion on GL championship.

My primary goal is to help each client through individualized therapeutic care. Participating in the World Championship will be a valuable opportunity to further develop my skills and broaden my professional experience.

In June 2024 I graduated from Professional Massage School in Tbilisi Georgia. Continuing education certificates from Georgian and international achools.

I had the honor of participating in the 7th Massage Competition held in Copenhagen, Denmark, last June about 250 over participants from 50 over countries.During this event, I encountered numerous massage therapists who profoundly inspired me till now, we made connectionson social media, learning new techniques from them as well.The competition venue was expansive and expertly designed to accommodate all categories of massage.Mr. Jeppe, my greatest idol, was exceptionally engaged throughout the event. Jeg mødte Jeppe Tengbjerg for første gang ved det første World Massage Championship i 2017. Siden da har vi krydset veje mange gange, i forskellige samarbejder relateret til massageverdenen: internationale konkurrencer, danske konkurrencer, kurser, workshops, seminarer, masterclasses mv. . Her var Jeppe skaberen, arrangøren eller i det mindste var han en væsentlig faktor i dannelsen af disse værdifulde platforme for uddannelse, inspiration og promovering, for alle dem, der er involveret i massageverdenen, både som massageudbydere og som massageforbrugere.Jeppe har ydet et kæmpe bidrag til at fremme massageværdier i Danmark og verden. Der kunne siges meget om dette bidrag og om hans egenskaber som professionel og som person. Måske allervigtigst er, at Jeppe Tengbjerg er en inspiration og et forbillede. Jeg har taget både grunduddannelsen, skadesterapeut, thai yoga massage samt sundhedsfaglig grunduddannelse hos tengbjerg massørskole og jeg er så tilfreds. Man lærer utrolig meget på kurserne og underviserne er så kompetente! Hvis man overvejer at blive massør, kan jeg på det kraftigste anbefale at man smutter til Næstved! :-)
