Latest Massage Therapist signing up for the 8th World Championship in Massage is Dr.Yadun Maidhilikutty Ramachandran Kerala from India. The International Massage Association has asked him to tell about himself:

I am a fourth-generation Ayurveda doctor from the land of holistic medicine – Kerala, India. I am a graduate in Ayurvedic sciences (Indian System of Medicine) and working towards a masters in Panchakarma branch of Ayurveda. Carrying the family legacy and as a passionate Ayurveda clinician, I co-founded my organisation Panackal Ayurveda Pvt Ltd in Varkala, Kerala, where we have been treating various disorders through Ayurveda for the last 8 years. I am also a faculty member at Gayaveda Academy in Cere la Ronde, France, where I get to teach the brilliance of holistic healing in Ayurveda to budding practitioners and Ayurveda enthusiasts.

My massage technique is that of Marma, which is rooted in the science of Ayurveda. Marma, literally implying “hidden” are actually vital energy centers/junctions where tissues converge and the life force i.e. prana is concentrated. By stimulating these energy points through specialised stroke techniques, Marma therapists can heal physiological and psychological issues, and can effectively manage pain and inflammation.

The ancient physiology of Yoga and Ayurveda defines the movement of prana, our life force, though nadis, i.e. channels. Through the manipulation of the marmas-vital energy points these nadis, or energy channels, are unblocked, allowing the life force to flow freely. This process revitalizes and rejuvenates the individual, promoting holistic healing.

I look forward to bringing my enthusiasm, passion, and experience on the massage table to showcase this traditional science of marmas and the power of healing from Ayurveda.

This championship gives us a unique opportunity to showcase the theory and the philosophy that is the core of the various massage therapies. I have been following the massage championship for some years and finally get to participate this year and look forward to meeting different healers from all over the world and learning from them.

I had the honor of participating in the 7th Massage Competition held in Copenhagen, Denmark, last June about 250 over participants from 50 over countries.
During this event, I encountered numerous massage therapists who profoundly inspired me till now, we made connectionson social media, learning new techniques from them as well.
The competition venue was expansive and expertly designed to accommodate all categories of massage.

Mr. Jeppe, my greatest idol, was exceptionally engaged throughout the event. His energy seemed boundless, akin to a rechargeable battery, as he was present everywhere, capturing videos and photographs of all participants and conducting interviews with us.

Wishing all my fellow "muscle kneaders" the best of luck; may you enjoy this truly remarkable experience in your lives!

I extend my gratitude to IMA for providing this extraordinary opportunity to showcase our talents to the world.

Jeg mødte Jeppe Tengbjerg for første gang ved det første World Massage Championship i 2017. Siden da har vi krydset veje mange gange, i forskellige samarbejder relateret til massageverdenen: internationale konkurrencer, danske konkurrencer, kurser, workshops, seminarer, masterclasses mv. . Her var Jeppe skaberen, arrangøren eller i det mindste var han en væsentlig faktor i dannelsen af disse værdifulde platforme for uddannelse, inspiration og promovering, for alle dem, der er involveret i massageverdenen, både som massageudbydere og som massageforbrugere.
Jeppe har ydet et kæmpe bidrag til at fremme massageværdier i Danmark og verden. Der kunne siges meget om dette bidrag og om hans egenskaber som professionel og som person. Måske allervigtigst er, at Jeppe Tengbjerg er en inspiration og et forbillede. Han samler flittigt viden og erfaringer, hvorfra han skaber en kilde til ny viden og erfaring til andre og giver den videre.

Man lærer utrolig meget på kurserne og underviserne er så kompetente! Hvis man overvejer at blive massør, kan jeg på det kraftigste anbefale at man smutter til Næstved! :-)
