Angélique Talhouarne, France
Latest Massage Therapist signing up for the 8th World Championship in Massage is Angélique Talhouarne from France. The International Massage Association has asked her to tell about herself:
I’m Angélique Talhouarne from France, founder of YOIN Studio.
After several years working in international relations, an unexpected encounter with tea marked the beginning of a life-changing shift toward wellness. Becoming a certified tea sommelier opened the door to a deeper calling: healing through touch.
To develop my skills, I trained in San Francisco and Tokyo, embracing both Western and Eastern methods. Today, I practice between Paris and Brittany as a manual holistic therapist, offering personalized care to those seeking lasting balance and well-being.
Wellness, to me, is central to everything — and I believe in global and focus approach. Every body is unique, every story is different, and each session must reflect that.
My approach is : the body speaks — my role is to listen.
Whether it’s tension, chronic pain, anxiety, emotional blockages, fatigue, insomnia, digestive issues, or water retention, I see every session as a dialogue. I tailor each session with precision and care to restore fluidity, alignment, and inner calm.
My work blends a wide range of techniques:
myofascial release, tsubo point therapy, neuromuscular techniques, Swedish and deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, Dien Chan reflexology, Renata França lymphatic drainage, shiatsu, sports recovery massage, prenatal care, and quantum energy work.
The goal is always the same: to meet the physical, emotional, energetic, and mental needs of each individual — with depth, presence, and intention.
I am a member of the American Massage Therapy Association (AMTA), and I strive to maintain the highest standards in my practice. My sessions are an intuitive balance of joint mobilizations, deep and energetic massage.
To gently close each session, I offer a cup of tea prepared in the traditional Gong Fu Cha style — hand-selected leaves to invite grounding, presence, and contemplation.
Because wellness doesn’t end on the massage table.
It continues — it integrates, it lives on.
Taking time to return to yourself, simply and fully.
I graduated from:
