MY BACKGROUND

Bonjour. My name is Balzhan. Originally from Kazakhstan and now based near Paris, France, I am a massage therapist with a multidisciplinary background that combines science, psychology, and bodywork.

Before entering the wellness field, I earned a Master’s Degree in Applied Mathematics and worked in the airline industry for Air Astana and British Airways as a Revenue Management Analyst.

My interest in human potential and well-being later led me to study psychology at university, NLP, ThetaHealing, somatic approaches, and massage therapy.

Today, I run my own practice where I offer personalized treatments that blend Western and Eastern techniques. My work combines precision, a profound yet gentle touch, and a deep respect for the body’s natural intelligence.

MY APPROACH

For me, massage is an inner journey. It is an invitation to slow down, reconnect with yourself, release accumulated tension, and restore balance.

Each session is tailored to the individual, combining therapeutic techniques, mindful presence, and attentive listening to the body and its non-verbal language.

Clients often describe my touch as grounding, deeply relaxing, and nurturing.

I believe that when the body feels safe, healing and transformation naturally begin.

WHY I PARTICIPATE

I participate in the World Massage Championship to challenge myself, refine my skills, and learn from talented therapists from around the world.

I believe that competitions are not only about performance, but also about growth, exchange, and elevating the standards of our profession.

My goal is to represent a holistic approach to massage that integrates technique, presence, and genuine human connection beyond the physical level.

I had the honor of participating in the 7th Massage Competition held in Copenhagen, Denmark, last June about 250 over participants from 50 over countries.
During this event, I encountered numerous massage therapists who profoundly inspired me till now, we made connectionson social media, learning new techniques from them as well.
The competition venue was expansive and expertly designed to accommodate all categories of massage.

Mr. Jeppe, my greatest idol, was exceptionally engaged throughout the event. His energy seemed boundless, akin to a rechargeable battery, as he was present everywhere, capturing videos and photographs of all participants and conducting interviews with us.

Wishing all my fellow "muscle kneaders" the best of luck; may you enjoy this truly remarkable experience in your lives!

Siden da har vi krydset veje mange gange, i forskellige samarbejder relateret til massageverdenen: internationale konkurrencer, danske konkurrencer, kurser, workshops, seminarer, masterclasses mv. . Her var Jeppe skaberen, arrangøren eller i det mindste var han en væsentlig faktor i dannelsen af disse værdifulde platforme for uddannelse, inspiration og promovering, for alle dem, der er involveret i massageverdenen, både som massageudbydere og som massageforbrugere.
