Latest Massage Therapist to register the IMA 7th World Championship in Massage is Annie Deblois from French speaking Québec in Canada. The International Massage Association has asked her to tell about herself:

Je me présente: Je suis Annie Deblois, massothérapeute professionnelle et hypnothérapeute de relation d’aide.

Je demeure dans la ville de Val-Alain, au Québec, une province du Canada.

Je pratique, depuis plus de 15 ans, la massothérapie holistique et je me suis aussi spécialisée dans le traitement des douleurs chroniques. Je suis propriétaire de la clinique « Douceurs et folie » qui possède deux adresses de pratique, l’une à Val-Alain et l’autre dans la Capitale Nationale québécoise.

Les arts du massage, du touché, du contact et de l’écoute constituent, ensemble, une réelle passion qui me permet de contacter les ressentis et les émotions du client, ainsi que d’être perceptive aux réactions et « réponses » du corps physique et des corps holistiques.

À travers les massages que je pratique, j’accompagne les clients vers l’amélioration de la santé physique et du bien-être général. Et je les aide à trouver la voie de la guérison en passant par les trois aspects nécessaires que sont l’approche physique, psychologique et émotionnelle. En les aidant à participer à leur guérison dès le début de chaque séance de massothérapie, ils atteignent une détente absolue et obtiennent des résultats durables, dans le temps du traitement et de sa continuité.

J’ai également suivi des formations de médecine traditionnelle et de médecine alternative afin d’augmenter mon savoir et mes références, dans la compréhension des problématiques rapportées par les clients. J’ai également développé ma connaissance de techniques de massage différents et complémentaires. Je continue ma formation professionnelle chaque année pour progresser et offrir un service évolutif à ma clientèle,

Je suis passionnée par le corps humain et ce que les massages peuvent lui apporter. Je suis également une autodidacte, toujours à la recherche de nouvelles techniques de nouvelles connaissances.

La vie aujourd’hui occasionne bien du stress et je prends pour mission professionnelle de défaire les réponses du corps à cela en le libérant des tensions et des pressions internes. J’aide par cela au rétablissement de l’équilibre physique et holistique, ce qui permet une répercussion positive sur le mental.

Ma motivation, ce qui me nourrit professionnellement, c’est de relever des défis que les clients m’amènent, de suivre des formations pour découvrir de nouvelles techniques, de nouveaux savoirs, mais aussi de partager mes connaissances et mon expérience pour aider ceux qui le souhaitent.

Je m’applique à chaque instant à prodiguer des soins adaptés aux besoins de chaque client dans son individualité, dans le respect et l’écoute, afin de les accompagner du mieux possible.

I had the honor of participating in the 7th Massage Competition held in Copenhagen, Denmark, last June about 250 over participants from 50 over countries.During this event, I encountered numerous massage therapists who profoundly inspired me till now, we made connectionson social media, learning new techniques from them as well.The competition venue was expansive and expertly designed to accommodate all categories of massage.Mr. Jeppe, my greatest idol, was exceptionally engaged throughout the event.
