Yvette Pons, Spain
Latest Massage Therapist at the World Championship in Massage is Yvette Pons from Spain. The International Massage Association has asked her to tell about herself:
My name is Yvette Pons, I represent Spain, and I am from Igualada, a city in the province of Barcelona. I am 56 years old. it’s a pleasure to introduce myself!
I hold a degree in Comprehensive Aesthetics and Lymphatic Drainage, obtained 33 years ago. Since 1996, I have owned my own Beauty Center, where we specialize in manual therapies for both the face and body.
Throughout these years, I have continuously trained in various manual techniques and disciplines related to biomechanics, anatomy, muscular chains, and more. I have collaborated with numerous laboratories that have trained me in their specialized massage techniques.
In 2019, I launched my own training project in signature manual techniques-methods created and registered under Intellectual Property Rights. I provide training both in Spain and internationally.
One of my signature methods is based on the diagnosis of Facial Bone Biotypes, where I teach how to address individual aging signs through personalized manual techniques. Another key method is the Sulyfth® Facial Lifting, which I would like to present in the championship. Additionally, I have developed Inflammassaging, a specialized massage to treat abdominal inflammation.
The technique I am submitting is my registered method, SULYFTH® (Sublime Lifting Therapy) – the “Y” in the name represents my name, Yvette. SULYFTH® is a 90-minute therapy that addresses all structures involved in facial aging, working from the deep musculature, fascia, and bone structure to the skin, fatty compartments, lymphatic and venous systems, and capillary microcirculation.
The massage begins at the sacrum, diaphragm, shoulder positioning, and scapulae, followed by relaxation of the neck’s muscular chain. It then progresses through the décolleté, neck, epicranial aponeurosis, and the entire face. Each structure is manipulated using specific techniques in a precise order, aligned with physiological and anatomical logic. These techniques are adapted to different depths, thicknesses, pressures, and speeds to achieve optimal results.
SULYFTH® is not just a massage it is a therapy. Beyond delivering outstanding results, it provides a rejuvenating experience, almost like waking up from a journey through time.
Currently, SULYFTH® is recognized by leading experts as the best manual lifting technique available in Spain. It has been widely acclaimed by the Spanish press and has won two awards as the Best Manual Aesthetic Treatment.
I graduated from Cristina Sorli in Aesthetics and Vodder Lymphatic Drainage (www.cristinasorli.com).
Additionally, I have pursued numerous related courses at Ismet Training Center (www.ismet.es), including post-surgical drainage training with physiotherapist Juan de Dios Pérez Bruzón, an expert in Vodder Lymphatic Drainage.
I have also trained in a wide range of manual techniques with various laboratories.
I manage two social media accounts and websites, one dedicated to my training company and the other to my aesthetics center:
