Latest Massage Therapist participating at then 9th World Massage Championship is Taís Minelly from Brazil. The International Massage Association has asked her to tell about herself:

My name is Taís Minelly, I am a massage therapist and I have been working in massage therapy for two years. Recently, I became an international champion, winning first place in Chair Massage. I am also a single mother to a 12-year-old son, and we live together in Brazil.

Before finding my path in massage therapy, I worked in many different areas throughout my life. I worked in security, I am a nursing technician and spent many years working in healthcare, always caring for people. I also worked with sales for many years, including as a sales promoter in stores and later selling clothes online. Although I worked hard in all these professions, I did not truly feel fulfilled or happy.

I decided to enter the world of massage therapy because it was something I already loved. Even during my time in healthcare, I naturally enjoyed caring for people through touch and therapeutic techniques. Since becoming a massage therapist, I finally found myself and discovered my true purpose.

Massage therapy has brought me inner peace, happiness, and a new vision of life. It allows me to help others through my hands, bringing relief, care, comfort, and well-being. I am always seeking more knowledge and improving my techniques so I can continue transforming lives with love and dedication through massage.

I studied my first massage therapy course at Instituto Rômulo, a massage therapy school located in Pernambuco, Brazil. There, I completed several professional courses, including Shiatsu, Lymphatic Drainage, Body Sculpting Massage, and other specialized massage techniques through separate training programs.

I had the honor of participating in the 7th Massage Competition held in Copenhagen, Denmark, last June about 250 over participants from 50 over countries.
During this event, I encountered numerous massage therapists who profoundly inspired me till now, we made connectionson social media, learning new techniques from them as well.
The competition venue was expansive and expertly designed to accommodate all categories of massage.

Mr. Jeppe, my greatest idol, was exceptionally engaged throughout the event. His energy seemed boundless, akin to a rechargeable battery, as he was present everywhere, capturing videos and photographs of all participants and conducting interviews with us.

Wishing all my fellow "muscle kneaders" the best of luck; may you enjoy this truly remarkable experience in your lives!

Jeg mødte Jeppe Tengbjerg for første gang ved det første World Massage Championship i 2017. Siden da har vi krydset veje mange gange, i forskellige samarbejder relateret til massageverdenen: internationale konkurrencer, danske konkurrencer, kurser, workshops, seminarer, masterclasses mv. . Her var Jeppe skaberen, arrangøren eller i det mindste var han en væsentlig faktor i dannelsen af disse værdifulde platforme for uddannelse, inspiration og promovering, for alle dem, der er involveret i massageverdenen, både som massageudbydere og som massageforbrugere.
