Latest Massage Therapist signing up for the World Championship in Massage is Award winning Steve Cataldo from France. The International massage Association has asked him to tell about himself:

Hi, my name is Steve and I am 42 years old and I am from France. For the past three years, I have been working as a massage therapist and I am passionate about my job, especially sports massage. My main goal is to help athletes and active individuals improve their performance, prevent injuries, and recover faster. I strongly believe in the importance of providing personalized care, tailored to the individual needs of each client. That’s why I strive to use different massage techniques to offer the best possible service. I am constantly staying up to date with new trainings and the latest trends in the field of sports massage, in order to stay at the forefront and be able to offer effective and innovative treatments. I am truly passionate about what I do and I am excited to be able to help my clients achieve their wellness and performance goals. Also I am freshly silver medalist at the 2024 European Championships in sports massage in Rome !

Specialized in sports massage, I was trained in well-being massage and pregnant women by David Grand (DaviD GranD Spa au Château de Champlong ), at Deep Tissue Reboutement by Frédéric Julien (Qui-suis-je corps âme esprit Frédéric JULIEN (corps-ame-esprit.fr) and qualified in the practice of cupping by the Chinese medicine school “Yang Shen Ô”, represented by Olivier Behr (Olivier BEHR – Ecole Yang Shen Ô – Médecine traditionnelle chinoise ) : three experts and trainers referent in sensory and therapeutic massages. It was an opportunity to deepen my knowledge and enrich my skills in the name of a single objective: to master specific techniques and offer targeted massages, adapted to the problems of each and every one.

Jeg mødte Jeppe Tengbjerg for første gang ved det første World Massage Championship i 2017. Siden da har vi krydset veje mange gange, i forskellige samarbejder relateret til massageverdenen: internationale konkurrencer, danske konkurrencer, kurser, workshops, seminarer, masterclasses mv. . Her var Jeppe skaberen, arrangøren eller i det mindste var han en væsentlig faktor i dannelsen af disse værdifulde platforme for uddannelse, inspiration og promovering, for alle dem, der er involveret i massageverdenen, både som massageudbydere og som massageforbrugere.Jeppe har ydet et kæmpe bidrag til at fremme massageværdier i Danmark og verden. Der kunne siges meget om dette bidrag og om hans egenskaber som professionel og som person. Måske allervigtigst er, at Jeppe Tengbjerg er en inspiration og et forbillede. Han samler flittigt viden og erfaringer, hvorfra han skaber en kilde til ny viden og erfaring til andre og giver den videre.I dag er der allerede mange mennesker i verden, som har nydt godt af det kolossale arbejde, Jeppe konstant udfører. Jeg har taget både grunduddannelsen, skadesterapeut, thai yoga massage samt sundhedsfaglig grunduddannelse hos tengbjerg massørskole og jeg er så tilfreds. Man lærer utrolig meget på kurserne og underviserne er så kompetente! Hvis man overvejer at blive massør, kan jeg på det kraftigste anbefale at man smutter til Næstved! :-)
