Latest Massage Therapist signing up for the 7th World Championship in massage is Aggeliki Karakosta from Greece. The International Massage Association has asked her to tell about herself:

My name is Aggeliki, I am 25 years old and I have studied aesthetics and cosmetology. At my school we had some massage lessons and later I started practicing massage more as I was doing my internship in a day spa. I currently work as spa supervisor in a luxury villa in France and before I was spa therapist to another 4 luxury hotels. I always want to invest for my career development that’s why i am attending championships and also I am enriching my techniques doing seminars.

I am very passionate about massage and wellness in general and its my second time participating for championship in Denmark. The previous year I participated also to greek massage championship where i got a silver medal in my category style. For me championships is the best place to learn, to meet new people of your field and is an unforgettable experience. I really want to discover new techniques and immerse myself to this universe of massage art. My philosophy is that aesthetics starts from the inside out and i believe that our well being is the most valuable thing in our lives!!

I intend to present you a freestyle massage and a facial massage, as I am honored to participate and represent Greece at the World Massage Championship.

Jeg mødte Jeppe Tengbjerg for første gang ved det første World Massage Championship i 2017. Siden da har vi krydset veje mange gange, i forskellige samarbejder relateret til massageverdenen: internationale konkurrencer, danske konkurrencer, kurser, workshops, seminarer, masterclasses mv. . Her var Jeppe skaberen, arrangøren eller i det mindste var han en væsentlig faktor i dannelsen af disse værdifulde platforme for uddannelse, inspiration og promovering, for alle dem, der er involveret i massageverdenen, både som massageudbydere og som massageforbrugere.Jeppe har ydet et kæmpe bidrag til at fremme massageværdier i Danmark og verden. Der kunne siges meget om dette bidrag og om hans egenskaber som professionel og som person. Måske allervigtigst er, at Jeppe Tengbjerg er en inspiration og et forbillede. Han samler flittigt viden og erfaringer, hvorfra han skaber en kilde til ny viden og erfaring til andre og giver den videre.I dag er der allerede mange mennesker i verden, som har nydt godt af det kolossale arbejde, Jeppe konstant udfører. Jeg har taget både grunduddannelsen, skadesterapeut, thai yoga massage samt sundhedsfaglig grunduddannelse hos tengbjerg massørskole og jeg er så tilfreds. Man lærer utrolig meget på kurserne og underviserne er så kompetente! Hvis man overvejer at blive massør, kan jeg på det kraftigste anbefale at man smutter til Næstved! :-)
