Latest Massage Therapist signing up for the World Championship in Massage is Siriphon Welch from Wales. The International Massage Association has asked her to tell about herself:

From dawn to dusk I think about everyone that needs my skills. I always improve my knowledge, understanding and abilities. I never shy away from adding tools and techniques to my health and wellbeing tool kit to ensure constant improvement for the wellbeing of clients in my care.

I think about people ,the condition of their body when they arrive at an appointment and continue to reflect after they have left on how I can help them beat at their next appointment ,I do not have a one size suits all approach.

I always further my educational and understanding of massage and the workings of muscles,injury,circulation,stress so that I can reduce pain and inflammation so that I can support clients towards better health by connecting my energy to the clients and intuitively resins to the body talking to me through its physical response cues,I hope my clients can feel my connection through my heart and conscious attention showing that they are ina client session most important and can feel my intention to improve their wellbeing.

My personal goal is that I want to be The world Champion 🏆

My goal with my massage is to make sure the client feels better than when they arrived.

How did I do that?

Consultation to establish clients problems question about health history and consent and boundaries about what is expected from the massage ilwnauri g privacy and confidentiality.

For eg. if a client presents with back pain ,I will explore the main muscle and it’s connections to hamstring ,hip etc . At all times checking the client is comfortable.

What did I do?

I use tools to support my role in massage, sometimes instead of using thumbs ,depending on the level of pressure needed to release tension in muscles, I decide which took is needed. Currently I am enjoying and having very good feedback and repeat client appointments by using Pha Khaw ma.

On accupressure points,with great results..
