Hello everyone,

My name is Katalin Beres (Kata) , age 36. I am a Hungarian national, but living and working in United Kingdom almost 13 years. I representing UK- Northern Ireland on this Championship.

I am recently managing my own business, called : Health and Soul Spot NI in Omagh town.

I am practising massage since 2017 and studied and graduated at Healing Massage Ashbourne with a fantastic tutor and mentor Éva Kaufmann.

The human body always played an important role in my working life. Many years ,I worked in Hospital environment as a senior nurse assistant. Thorough my work, I always felt, I would be able to give more “care” for patients with other ways than nursing. So, I started to change my career.

For now, I am able to give more support for people with massage and other kind Of therapies, just what I imagined before. I learnt to use many ways and different technics, but still a lot to learn. Currently I am still studying Fascia Release Therapy.

I enrolled for World Massage Championship 2023, because I would like to developing my skills and meet and making connections with World’s Best therapists.

The International Massage World Championships (IMA) in Copenhagen was an extraordinary experience. It provided a unique platform to compete with the best massage therapists in the world and learn advanced techniques at the highest level.The professional exchange, the valuable feedback from the jury and the inspiring atmosphere have significantly expanded my skills.
