Latest Massage Therapist signing up for the World Championship in Massage is Simona Pahontu from Morocco. The International Massage Association has asked her to tell about herself:

My name is Simona Pahontu – I am a therapist specializing in facial rejuvenation techniques. The essence of my work lies in a unique concept: rejuvenation through muscle restoration.

In 2025, I proudly represent Morocco at the World Championship in Massage in Copenhagen, Denmark, in the Facial Massage category- as the only therapist in the country offering this kind of advanced treatment.

My mission is to promote excellence, innovation, and refinement in the art of professional facial rejuvenation.

My signature technique is a dry, manual, holistic-therapeutic facial massage- a fusion of scientific precision and the artistry of manual lifting.

It’s more than a massage: it’s a powerful method designed to bring deep, visible, and lasting results.

To refine my technique even further, I studied the muscles of the body that are closely connected to the muscles of the face. In my 90-minute protocol, I also work on the back, diaphragm, and pectoralis major, to release global tensions and enhance facial outcomes. This integrated approach helps unlock the body’s natural lifting potential, inside and out.

My experience brings together a detailed understanding of facial anatomy with advanced techniques such as:

• Sculptural face lifting

• Intraoral (buccal) massage technique

• Myolifting and myofascial technique

• Lymphatic drainage

• Electrostimulation

• TMJ (temporomandibular joint) mobilization

• Osteoesthetic work, post-isometric technique, and lipomodeling

I had the honor of participating in the 7th Massage Competition held in Copenhagen, Denmark, last June about 250 over participants from 50 over countries.During this event, I encountered numerous massage therapists who profoundly inspired me till now, we made connectionson social media, learning new techniques from them as well.The competition venue was expansive and expertly designed to accommodate all categories of massage.Mr. Jeppe, my greatest idol, was exceptionally engaged throughout the event.
