Latest Massage therapist to register the World Championship in Massage 2023 in Copenhagen is Silvia Ghidoni from Italy. She is one of many who has been participating before in both the Championship, and has been nominated for Best Massage Video Promotion. The IMA has asked her to tell about herself.

Hi, l’m Silvia Ghidoni from Italy, Rome. I’m 52 years old and l have been studying the art of massage for 6 years.

I have studied in various Italian school: Italian massage training by stefano de michino, annabel school by Anna baroni, Daniela Caracciuolo, Elvira Gentile, Antonio Cerrone academy. Currently l study privately with osteopath and psichologist RI sia Fiorentino. I improve the anatomy, the palpatory listening and l create my own method.

At the World Championship in Massage 2023 in Copenhagen l will perform a bamboo technique devised by me. Bamboo allows deep and penetrating maneuvers, the plant is rich in silicon, an element that strengthens the deep tissue of the skin, it is important for the healt of tendons, bones, connective tissues, cartilage and joints. I will be a deep massage that dissolves contracture and has a remarkable draining action.

I will create an alternating combination of decontracting, draining and stretching maneuvers with hands and bamboo.

Jeg mødte Jeppe Tengbjerg for første gang ved det første World Massage Championship i 2017. Siden da har vi krydset veje mange gange, i forskellige samarbejder relateret til massageverdenen: internationale konkurrencer, danske konkurrencer, kurser, workshops, seminarer, masterclasses mv. . Her var Jeppe skaberen, arrangøren eller i det mindste var han en væsentlig faktor i dannelsen af disse værdifulde platforme for uddannelse, inspiration og promovering, for alle dem, der er involveret i massageverdenen, både som massageudbydere og som massageforbrugere.Jeppe har ydet et kæmpe bidrag til at fremme massageværdier i Danmark og verden. Der kunne siges meget om dette bidrag og om hans egenskaber som professionel og som person. Måske allervigtigst er, at Jeppe Tengbjerg er en inspiration og et forbillede. Jeg har taget både grunduddannelsen, skadesterapeut, thai yoga massage samt sundhedsfaglig grunduddannelse hos tengbjerg massørskole og jeg er så tilfreds. Man lærer utrolig meget på kurserne og underviserne er så kompetente! Hvis man overvejer at blive massør, kan jeg på det kraftigste anbefale at man smutter til Næstved! :-)
